Welcome to the Grace Neighborhood Nursery School (GNNS) web site!

This year we are celebrating our 51st Anniversary. Established in 1961, GNNS began with a $50 gift, a few borrowed bicycles, and 10 families. Today, our school serves more than 120 children and 100 families.

GNNS offers a pre-school experience for children from 2 years and 9 months until kindergarten is entered. Our program is dedicated to developing a child's natural creativity, curiosity, and sense of wonder. We hope to foster in each child a strong sense of self-worth, a happy and comfortable group experience, and a positive attitude toward school.

Crucial to the richness of our program is the strong sense of community Grace maintains with the families of its students -- past and present. There are several family activities and monthly parent advisory board meetings where you and your ideas are always welcome. Parent volunteers for a variety of projects are needed and encouraged.
