Transportation
Van service is available for both the morning and afternoon session.
Children who are in need of two-way or one-way transportation to school
can ride the Grace van. The van service includes child safety seats and
an adult rider who helps children on and off the van. Parents who are
interested in transportation should contact the director for pricing
information.
Application and
enrollment
The
GNNS enrollment process includes an application, $40.00 registration
fee, tour of the school and optional classroom observation. An
application deadline is set each year by the director. The 2009-2010
current family registration begins in February. New family registration
begins in March. Preference is given to returning families and siblings
with remaining spots filled by new families. Once classrooms are
filled, additional children are placed on a waiting list and will be
placed if there are openings. Children can be placed in a classroom
opening at any point in the year.
Once a child is accepted, the parents are
expected to complete enrollment forms that include health information,
emergency contacts and volunteer availability. A child will not be able
to attend school without these forms completed and turned in to the
director.
Scholarship program
Grace is proud of the cultural and
economic diversity of its students. Although the school is located in
Grace Trinity Community Church, it is non-sectarian. The Scholarship
Program at Grace provides tuition assistance for up to 20% of its
students. Parents who are interested in the scholarship program should
contact the director.
